Last month Brit actor Simon Pegg caused a near internet implosion when he was pictured at Marvel HQ nonchalantly pointing at a photo of Ant-Man. Pegg was quick to squash the rumours, saying that the photo was merely an acknowledgement of the films director Edgar Wright (who is Pegg's best friend).
Today there are multiple reports that Scotch actor Ewan McGregor might be the favourite of Marvel to play Hank Pym/ Ant-Man. McGregor has previously played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the 'Star Wars' prequel trilogy - some of his other film credits include 'Trainspotting' and 'Black Hawk Down'.
We have our ears open for any casting news that is confirmed. Production on 'Ant-Man' should begin sometime next year, and it will hit theatres on July 31st, 2015!
