Oakland man attempts to oust Affleck from Batman role

By: James Bowler

One man has taken it upon himself, much like the Batman character, to take down the evil corrupting his movie.

Since the announcement that actor/director Ben Affleck was taking the role of the iconic Batman in the second installment of Man of Steel, there has been quite a lot of negative response.

A man from Oakland California has taken things one step further and logged onto the benefit site, Change.org, to petition Snyder and Warner Brothers to have Affleck removed from the role immediately.

His reasons:

"Because Daredevil."

Perhaps unsurprisingly, he has garnered quite a few votes already, needing merely 100 to have the petition move into official status on the site.

Will this one man renegade stop this supposed 'train-wreck' decision to cast Affleck as the caped crusader?

Probably not, but it's still hilarious to watch.
