Today we're hearing that Marvel has been eyeing Bradley Cooper for the coveted role of Rocket, and sources confirm to Variety.com that talks are well underway. It was reported after production began that the studio wanted an A-List actor for the part with many names being thrown around as being contenders.
Previously we heard that Vin Diesel has been cast as voicing Groot, an alien tree. Marvel has yet to confirm.
Guardians of the Galaxy is due in theatres August 1st, 2014.
