UPDATED: Three possible Flash actors leaked

By: James Bowler

Showrunners for the very popular Arrow, have been teasing an appearance by Barry Allen (a.k.a The Flash), during the middle part of the upcoming second season.

They also teased that this would lead to a possible Flash TV series.

Well Latino Review has now been tipped off on three possible actors who may be up for the role of the red and yellow speedster who will all be going through screen tests today.

The site has released two of the three names, those are James MacKay, (Don't Be Afriad of the Dark, Singularity) a 28-year-old Australian actor who received the 2013 Heath Ledger Scholarship Award.

The second name dropped is semi-well known actor Matt Barr (Hatfields & McCoys) who most of the ladies may recognize as the heart-throb from the short-lived series Hellcats.

Grant Gustin was the third and final screen tester today. The 23-year-old actor is known to many 'Gleeks' for his role as Sebastian Smythe of The Dalton Academy Warblers.

Executive producer of Arrow Andrew Kreisberg had this to say about the new character last week to EW:

“We’ll have to have somebody by Sept. 30, which is when we start shooting [his first] episode. So there is that timeline,” he says. “But it’s been a really exciting process just getting to meet so many fantastic actors and seeing the enthusiasm that so many people around town have for the character. It’s just amazing — I have pictures of myself at age 4 holding a Flash and a Superman doll. That I’m sitting here writing the Flash and Green Arrow now, it’s more than my little nerd heart can bear sometimes.”

So what do you think of these pics? Good/Bad?

When Latino Review releases the final name we'll let you know.
