God's of Theros

Good Morning Magic Peeps

So Wizards released the spoilers of the Mythic Rare 'God Cards' and oh my, there looking good.

What are God cards you might ask?  They are basically enchantments that have a condition, if the condition is meet they are amazing creatures that will pretty much win the game for you.
The condition you may ask? Devotion, have 5 mana symbols or more in all of your creatures. Now for early game they are pretty amazing and mid/late they are game closers.

Here is a run down of them and my thoughts;

Heliod, God of the Sun

Other creatures you control have vigilance.
2{W}{W}: Put a 2/1 white Cleric enchantment creature token onto the battlefield.

The vigilance is nice for a token deck, the 4 mana I feel is kinda steep for a 2/1, if you were playing on a cleric theme it would be nice.

My Rating - 7.5 / 10

Purphoros, God of the Forge

Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, Purphoros deals 2 damage to each opponent. 2{R}: Creatures you control get +1/+0 until end of turn.

Whenever another creature comes into play do 2 damage to all opponents. Now that is amazing, this God and a bunch of 1/1 chumps for 1 mana. The boost is nice, but i do not think you will be giving +10/0 anytime soon.

My Rating - 9 / 10

Nylea, God of the Hunt

Other creatures you control have trample.
3{G}: Target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn.

This is a nice generic green play style. it isn't amazing but a Solid God, good creature buffs.

My Rating - 8 / 10

 Erebos, God of the Dead

Your opponents can't gain life.
1{B}, Pay 2 life: Draw a card.

Now he doesn't seem to play well with others you might say as all other gods help you creatures. This is true, but whats a black deck without a little grave play and he doesn't need friends. Ok, so stops life gain and has Greed for +1 mana. Now greed is a scary ability, i have seen it abused many times.

My Rating - 9 / 10

Thassa, God of the Sea

At the beginning of your upkeep, Scry 1.
1{U}: Target creature you control can't be blocked this turn.

FYI
Scry X. (Look at the top X card(s) of your library. You may put X card(s) on the bottom of your library.)

Scry is quite fun, makes your deck run faster, so once a turn from her is nice. The Unblockable is going to be nice. With the new Monstrosity, i can see her being over used.

My Rating - 8.5 / 10

So my final thoughts you might ask, I think there will be a lot of Red/Black combo decks with the Draw a card and 2 damage to all opponents. Maybe Rainbow God Deck?

Whats your thoughts on the Gods? Too powerful, to weak?
