We may be seeing the last of Hugh Jackman as the famous Wolverine. Next summer, Jackman will be reprising his role in the next X-Men film, "Days Of Future Past, a film which will see him reunited with past cast members, including Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
During the Toronto International Film Festival this year, Jackman told MTV news "It may be the last."
Jackman followed up by saying :
"It didn't hit me until three weeks before the end of shooting 'X-Men: Days of Future Past because we promoted 'The Wolverine' and I came back on set with three weeks to go, and that's when I went, 'Well, who knows? Maybe there's no more Wolverine. Maybe this is it. Who knows? Maybe.' So I really made the most of those last few weeks. I enjoyed every time I put the claws on."
What does that mean for the X-Men franchise?
Jackman also promised that the events of this summers solo Wolverine movie will have ramifications for next summers big X-Men film which is slated for release May 24th, 2014.
